DES04 | Layout and Composition Systems

Layout is the difference between an image and a design. This course turns composition into a system you can prompt: the grid and its margins, the split and the thirds, negative space as a working zone, the three-layer frame, scale and size contrast, and series layouts that hold a campaign together across six images. Each page carries a base block and an advanced block, a before-and-after pair generated from the page, a worked example and a swap exercise. Ends with the Layout Check and Fix Bank.
